Handmade deserves a little care.
General guidance below; fabric-specific notes cover what each weave asks for. When in doubt, dry clean.
Dry clean only. Keep zari away from direct heat and perfume — spraying scent after dressing, not before. Store folded with the zari side facing out to avoid pressure marks.
Dry clean recommended. Brush with the nap to lift crushing, never against it. Hang where possible rather than folding for long periods.
Hand wash cold, separately, for the first two washes to set the dye. Dry in shade — direct sun fades block-print colour faster than washing does.
Dry clean only. The sheer weave snags easily on jewellery and rough surfaces — store flat or on a padded hanger, never on a wire hook.
